Making sense of the changes in corporate reporting

BY Simon Lake

The narrative and disclosures within the Annual Report are once again going to change dramatically. The main, if tentative, thrust of these changes is to improve the value of the content of the Annual Report to its main audiences, primarily the multitude of investor types and the compliance authorities.

This article ‘Making sense of the changes in corporate reporting’ explains the thinking behind the many changes as well as explaining the implications on structure, content and integration of information. It has been written for any corporate manager whose responsibility involves the gathering, verification and publishing of information for an Annual Report.
