Gather Around – Issue 37 – October 2022

31 October 2022

The regulatory landscape is complex and evolving. Every month we bring you the latest developments in regulation and ‘best practice’ in corporate governance and reporting.

This month we report on the FRC’s Review of Reporting 2021/2022 and their ranking of the top 10 topics that arose most frequently in their correspondence with companies over the last three years.

We also discuss the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors’ “Risk in Focus 2023” research report which identifies the top risks facing organisations for the year ahead based on a poll of 834 chief audit executives. It also forecasts the top risks for 2026.

In this month’s news we look at the FRC’s lab report on net zero disclosures and the ISSB’s progress in refining its first two proposed sustainability-related disclosure standards published in March 2022.

Also this month, Richard Orr, Gather’s Creative Partner, talks about how companies can use communication to embrace their difference and focuses in on two great examples of corporate reporting from Puma and Experian.

And lastly we bring you the usual “in case you missed it” news, as well as some exciting news from Gather London.
