About Richard
I am the Consultancy Director at Gather, leading our consultancy offering. I am responsible for helping our clients develop strategic roadmaps for their corporate communications and advise them on best practice and legislation. I ensure we tell every story with maximum impact and clarity.
Corporate narratives serve to create a bond. They are, ultimately, a call to action to be part of who you are and what you do. Making people care is business-critical: to want to hold a stake, they must see themselves as co-creators of a shared vision. My passion lies in uncovering what makes a business distinctive and compelling to stakeholders.
My expertise is built on a 20-year career developing award-winning communications for FTSE 350 leaders and private companies, including most recently Endeavour Mining, Dunelm and M Group. From initial workshops to the final product, I help clients define and articulate what makes them different, more competitive, and better.
