Intermediate Capital Group is a private equity investment firm focused on providing capital to help companies grow through private and public markets and provides a number of strategies and funds aimed at institutional investors.

The Challenge

To show investors that ICG is a growth company and to integrate Workiva’s wDesk into their Annual Report production process.

Our Approach

Working with ICG we created “Investing for growth”. A strong theme that captured their recent activities and their ambition. We used this message throughout the report as a touchstone to show where ICG have invested and how they are well-set for long-term growth.

As a financial services company and Stewardship Code signatory, ICG has more data points than many. Using Workiva to the full helped to simplify and streamline the production process.

Initially we designed their report so it would work on wDesk. And to help with the full adoption of wDesk we also held training workshops and gave them direct access to our Workiva team.

The Result

ICG’s report tells a growth story that reflects their business model and strategy and is clearly understood by investors. They have also fully adopted Workiva, cutting down the time it takes to produce an Annual Report.
